I am an independent filmmaker, founder of Ahra Films, and currently a California Humanities and Sundance Sandbox supported artist for my feature documentary film Lorehole (in-production). I also work as a consulting producer for Blue Lab, an environmental storytelling and media production studio at Princeton University.

Over nine years at PBS stations KCET, Link TV and PBS SoCal, I created a wide range of original documentaries and docuseries including historical biographies, artist profiles, social movement histories, as well as films about environmental justice issues and Indigenous peoples. For my public media work, I won 23 Los Angeles Area Emmy® Awards, 17 LA Press Club Awards and 10 RTNA Golden Mike Awards®.​ I hold an MA in history from UC San Diego and a BA in history from Boston College.
